Dense dark purple. The nose is entirely hidden for the moment, though suggestive of intensity. There really is an impressive wealth of fruit, and though the tannins are certainly present, the fruit swamps them. Nicely on the cusp of red and black, a little less acidity present, yet exceptional length. Very fine.
