The domaine’s biggest holding, on red soil. Dark purple with black centre. The nose is perhaps a bit confused at the moment by recent bottling. There is significant matter, though, dense with a profound length here. Darker fruit but not heated, Les Chaillots retains its class through to a spicier finish. Perhaps not the best moment to taste what I think will be a very good wine.
