Three barrels, one new, being a mix of Charmots and Chanière. A fine depth of colour with energy on the nose and just a little oak. Plenty to sink your teeth into. Firm tannins behind, not as refined as it will be with the vineyards licked into shape but there is density, fruit quality and length. Nothing rustic. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted Oct 2024.
